Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II Prop Bets:
Introduction
Boxing prop bets are bets within a fight. In other words, the main bet is who is going to win the fight. But within that framework are any number of different events that you can try to predict. The bigger the fight—the more things you can bet on. And with Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II being one of the biggest heavyweight championship fights in years, the choices are many.
This isn’t about picking a winner. You’re going to have an idea of who you might think will win the fight. In this article, we are merely singling out the prop bets we think have the best value, and that goes for both sides of the equation. You might want to put your eggs all in one basket. And maybe there is something to be said for that, as you don’t want to make bets that contradict themselves. But with some of the potentially-rewarding odds of some of these props, we like to take a few different positions. Here are some of our favorites for the Wilder-Fury rematch.
- Wilder / Fury goes distance -120
- The fight won’t go distance -110
Pick: Goes distance. Sure, both men are promising knockouts. Wilder backers might feel that their man can put Fury down and keep him there this time. But the combination of both men’s durability, in addition to their mutual respect and the high stakes of the fight, could give way to a similar bout where they see the final bell. In the first fight, we saw Fury walk through Wilder’s power, and the champion’s chin might be the most underrated part of his repertoire. When the bell rang to end the fight, both had something left.Y

- Wilder wins inside distance +145
- Not Wilder inside distance -175
Pick: Wilder inside distance. This might contradict the last pick, but this is more for bettors who fancy Wilder. The cards were close last time, and that was a “travesty in justice”. If Wilder wins, it seems like it would very likely be inside the distance. Locking in a +145 quote for Wilder to win inside the distance isn’t a bad value. He almost did it the first time.
- Fury wins by 12 round decision +150
- Not Fury by 12 round decision -180
Pick: If looking to get some better value on Fury to win the fight, betting on him to win by decision at +150 has some appeal. After all, judging incompetence aside, this is really how the first fight should have ended. Never at any point in the first fight did it appear that Fury was in a position where he can stop Wilder so if you like Fury, this could be a nice option.
- Wilder / Fury draw +2000
- Fight not a draw -3000
Pick: Let’s face it, the prospects of the biggest heavyweight matchup in years ending up a draw for a second time is unsettling. All that work and such little resolution on who the best is. And while the first fight shouldn’t have been a draw, one could see how these two mesh in such a way to make a draw verdict perhaps a greater possibility than 20-1. With Fury winning rounds and a few knockdowns from Wilder, we could find ourselves in the same boat.
- Wilder wins in round 1-3 +1075
- Any other result -1937
Pick: I think maybe taking a more-extreme stand in at least one of these bets could have some upside. Time and again, the rematch after a close fight breaks loose early. Wilder knows the boxing lesson he received last time and how much harder it was to time Fury when he got into a groove. One could see Wilder making a strong early move in an effort to bypass all that. In their last round together, Wilder had Fury down and almost out and might be looking for a continuation of that early in the rematch.
- Wilder wins in round 5-8 +465
- Any other result -710
Pick: Any other result. We got one for you extreme chalk hunters, the type of bettor who doesn’t mind laying down over a grand to pick up a couple of extra hundred for a Costco run. In this bet, all you have to do is fade a 4-round range in the middle of the fight.
- Wilder wins in round 7-12 +300
- Any other result -390
Pick: Then again, we saw Wilder turning on the heat in the second half of the fight last time. If taking Wilder early in the fight is too extreme of a stance, getting him at +300 to win at any time in the fights’ latter half might be a more comfortable wager for you. After seeing Wilder’s power surface in the latter half of the fight last time and just noting how well he carries his power late in fights in general, a Wilder backer could find this one appealing.
- Fury wins in round 9-12 +1700
- Any other result -3400
Pick: At 17-1, I like this as the best more-extreme Fury stance to take on the fight. With a fighter whose best chance appears to be a 12-round decision, one is less likely to look off the grid for more exotic stances to take. But if Fury were to score the improbable stoppage, this time period would appear to be the best candidate. Wilder could empty his guns going for a KO against the resolute Fury. Or maybe Fury will have some tough early moments and need something dramatic late. Either way, at this number, it’s not that crazy. To read Loot’s take on who will win this fight go here!

On Saturday, February 22nd, Tyson Fury takes on Deontay Wilder in a highly anticipated rematch live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Deontay Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KOs) puts his WBC heavyweight title on the line once again as he faces the lineal champion Tyson Fury (29-0-1, 20 KOs). They first fought in November 2018, and that fight ended with a controversial split draw.
Both men promise to get the knockout in this rematch in order to take the power away from the judges and to quiet their rival.
Boxing betting sites have treated this fight like the spectacle that it is, as there are over 100 different prop bets for this heavyweight showdown in addition to the standard moneylines and Over/Unders.
Wilder Vs Fury Full Fight
However, for this article we’re just looking at the Fury vs Wilder prop bets via 5Dimes. Specifically, the five best ones to make money on.
Will This Fight Go to a Decision?
Let’s start with the following Wilder vs Fury prop bet that offers betting odds on whether or not this fight will go the distance.
- Fight Goes to Decision (+115)
- Fight Doesn’t Go to Decision (-135)
Wilder Vs Fury Prop Bets Against
The first matchup between these two heavyweights went the distance despite Tyson Fury being a large underdog and many pundits believing that Wilder would finish off “The Gypsy King” inside the distance. Not only did that not happen, the two men went to a controversial decision.
Basically, the judges couldn’t decide on who won the fight, so we got a split draw. For Wilder, that was only the second time he went the full distance. Wilder is 42-0-1 with 41 knockouts under his belt. His 2015 bout against Bermane Stiverne went the full 12 rounds and he won via unanimous decision.
For Tyson Fury, he’s 29-0-1 with 20 knockouts. The other 10 fights have gone the distance and he’s 9-0-1 in those contests. Over his last six fights, four of them went the distance. That also includes his most recent fight against Otto Wallin where he suffered a massive cut over his right eye that required 47 stitches.
I believe this rematch will also go the distance. I don’t see either man making a huge mistake that will lead to a stoppage. They will both fight smart fights and avoid each other’s strengths. It should be a great heavyweight tactical battle.

Who Wins If the Fight Goes to a Decision?
With the previous prop bet the premise for our wagers, that the fight will go the distance, it’s time to examine who has the better chance of really winning this bout if it goes to the judges.
- Fury Wins via Decision (+115)
- Wilder wins via Decision (+800)
On the surface, Wilder’s odds are very high. This is largely due to the fact that most online betting sites believe that if he wins, it will be via TKO/KO. Conversely, they feel that if Wilder goes the distance then he most likely will lose via decision.
As for Fury, he offers positive odds, which is good value for such a discrepancy in these lines. Tyson Fury has seen more scorecards over the last few years than at any other stretch of his career. So, it would be no surprise if he takes it the distance and gets the win this time.
In fact, more pundits and fans feel that Fury won the first fight. Unfortunately, he came away with a Draw instead.
If this fight does go the full 12 rounds, and I think it will, then the smart play for this prop bet is taking Tyson Fury. He’s a “points boxer” in a heavyweight body meaning he can roll with the punches, defend, jab and fight from a comfortable distance as he racks up the points and wins the fight.
Wilder requires power shots and more exchanges to have a realistic chance at winning. He’s not as good of a counter puncher as Fury is either. However, all it takes is one power shot to end this fight.
Will This Fight Be A Draw Again?
- Fight is a Draw (+2200)
- Any Other Result (-3400)
As mentioned, their first fight was a controversial Draw. It’s the only Draw for either fighter in their respective careers. I can’t remember the last time a rivalry had back to back Draws, so I don’t see this one either.
Keep in mind, these two already have a mandatory trilogy fight signed with all of the details hashed out. So, no matter the outcome of this fight on Saturday, there will still be a third bout to solidify their feud.
With that said, the smart play is on “any other result” as there’s no way this fight ends in another Draw unless they get the same three judges and that’s not going to happen.
Can Either Man Finish the Fight Inside the Distance?
If you don’t like the prop bet above for this fight going the distance then you are probably thinking that one of these heavyweights will finish off the fight within the 12 full rounds. If that’s the case, here are the odds for each fighter:
- Wilder Wins Inside the Distance (+130)
- Fury Wins Inside the Distance (+515)
The odds heavily favor Deontay Wilder to win inside the distance, which should come as no surprise considering that the defending champion has 41 knockouts in 43 professional fights. That’s an amazing knockout rate that makes Wilder the scariest boxer on the planet.
However, despite being knocked down in the first fight and left for dead, Tyson Fury was able to get back up and shake off Wilder’s power shots. He was the first man to come back from the proverbial grave after getting blasted by Wilder.
The smart play is on Wilder here, but I really think Fury is worthy of a flier. He could catch Wilder in a counter exchange that may just surprise even the WBC heavyweight champ.
Will the Fight Make It to the Championship Rounds?
Here’s one of my favorite prop bets for this fight. I really believe that we are going the distance in this contest. But, if you don’t then this prop could be the one for you. It asks whether or not this heavyweight battles starts the 11th round:
- Yes (-135)
- No (+115)
If you also believe that this fight is going the distance then taking the “yes” option for this bet is a no brainer. Keep in mind, Fury’s strategy for this fight is to keep it at a distance which means we could have several rounds where both men are jockeying for position.
By time we get some exciting exchanges, it should be in the middle rounds which also means that I don’t see either man being put in danger or pushed to their limits until at least round nine or 10. Like the first contest, this bout should go the full 12 rounds which means it will definitely start the 11th round.
Go with the “Yes” option and count each passing round.
