The Racing and Charitable Gaming Commission has all the powers, duties, and rights under the United States Interstate Horseracing Act of 1978. Gaming Regulation (licensing and Oversight) – Contd. Racing & Charitable Gaming. Racing and Charitable Gaming is a division of the New Hampshire Lottery Commission. It regulates Simulcast Horse and Greyhound Racing in New Hampshire under RSA 284, Games of Chance Regulations under RSA 287-D and Bingo and Lucky 7 Regulations under RSA 287-E.

In accordance with the COVID-19 Reopening Guidance from the Governor's Economic Reopening Taskforce, charitable gaming venues may reopen on June 15, 2020. Charitable Gaming Operators must limit the number of seats per game and practice enhanced cleaning and safety protocols. Social distancing and hygiene remain essential to the well-being of employees and patrons. As required under the guidelines, staff are required to wear face coverings in common areas and patrons should be asked to wear face masks/coverings while inside the facilities.
New Hampshire Lottery Commission (NHLC) greatly appreciates the efforts of the Operators to protect the health and safety of their workers, patrons, and citizens of New Hampshire. And we further appreciate the patience and cooperation of patrons by adhering to enhanced safety and hygiene regulations.
To accommodate the reopening and time-sensitive staffing needs of the facilities, NHLC will now allow charitable gaming applications to be dropped off at headquarters. All other documents should be mailed in until further notice.
